Ham and cheese wraps recipe

5 servings

5 tortillas
1 cup creamy cheese
1 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
1 cup shredded cucumbers or carrots
5 slices or 1 lb. sliced ham
2-3 leaves lettuce

Spread the cheese over the tortillas. Top with a shredded cheese and cucumber. Finish with ham and lettuce. Roll up and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve cut in half. Decorate with a salad of fresh vegetables or French fries.

Liquid Measurements
1 cup = 8 oz. liquid
2 cups = 1 pint liquid
4 cups = 1 quart liquid
2 tablespoons = 1 oz. liquid
4 tablespoons = ¬ľ cup liquid
16 tablespoons = 1 cup liquid
1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons Liquid

Dry Measurements
1 lb. grated Cheddar, Mozzarella or any other hard cheese = 4 cups

1 medium-sized lemon = 3-4 tablespoons juice
1 medium-sized orange = 5-6 tablespoons juice
1 medium-sized grapefruit = 1 cup juice

Marinated BBQ chicken fillets


Preparation time: 5-7 minutes
Marinating time: 30-60 minutes
Grilling time: 15 minutes


  • 2,2lbs. or 1 kilogram chicken fillets
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive or any vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. organic honey
  • 1 tbsp. crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • Pepper


How to prepare?
Place the chicken fillets in a shallow bowl in a single layer. In a small bowl mix olive oil, vinegar, honey, garlic and pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Marinade for 30-60 minutes or more. Grill until tender, about 3 minutes per side.

To serve, decorate with the chopped fresh parsley.

Chocolate fudge brownies

  • For the batter: 4 ounces (120 grams) bitter chocolate
  • 1/2 cup (110 grams) butter
  • 1/4 cup (50 grams) white/brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup (95 grams) universal flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • For the fudge frosting:
  • 3 ounces (90 grams) semi sweet chocolate
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp¬† (15 grams)¬† butter

To serve:
Raspberries (optional)

To prepare:  

  • 1st: Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F or 165 C. Butter a square baking pan.
  • 2nd: Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. After removing from heat, stir in the sugar.
  • 3rd: Whisk in the vanilla extract and the eggs one at a time beating well after adding each of them.
  • 4th: Stir in the flour and salt.
  • 5th: Pour the mixture in the pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes clean out of the brownies.
  • 6th: Remove from oven and let the cake cool.
  • 7th: For the fudge, melt the chocolate, cream, and butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Remove from heat, let cool to room temperature and then spread over the brownies.
